The Gentle Reset: A Seaside Sound Healing Retreat in Port Dickson
. SoulRiceBowl .When I look back at the photos and videos from our seaside retreat, it feels as if time pauses for a moment.
I can still hear the laughter around the villa.
I can still remember the stories shared during quiet conversations.
Even though the retreat has ended, the feeling of those few days still lingers.
There is a sense of gratitude that stays with me.
The Gentle Reset retreat by the sea was quite different from the retreats I had hosted before. This time, it was not something I created alone. The retreat came together through a collaboration with the villa owners, Claudia and Odam. Without them, this retreat would not have existed in the way it did.

For a long time, I had imagined hosting a retreat where different aspects of wellbeing could come together naturally — not only sound healing, but also nourishment for the body and mindful movement. Through this collaboration, that vision slowly became real.
The villa itself became part of the experience. The open sea view, the quiet mornings, and the shared spaces created a rhythm that felt very different from the city. Participants woke up to the sound of the ocean, moved their bodies gently in the morning, and gathered around meals that were prepared with care and intention.

Food was an important part of this retreat. Nutrition was not treated as an afterthought, but as something that supports the body and the mind together. The meals we shared were simple, wholesome, and grounding. Over time, the dining table became a place not only for eating, but also for conversations, laughter, and connection.
Looking back, I realise that the retreat was meaningful not only for the participants, but also for us as organisers.
My intention for hosting retreats has never been only about “healing” people. What I hope to create is something more subtle — a space that reminds people of the kindness that already exists within them.
A safe space.

Not only a physical space where people can rest and feel supported, but also an inner space that they can rediscover within themselves.
Because when we slow down and listen, we begin to notice that this inner space has always been there. And when participants return to their daily lives, I hope they can carry that space with them — a quiet place within where they can pause, breathe, and be kinder to themselves.
One of the most touching moments for me happened after the retreat ended.

None of the participants knew each other before they arrived. They came as strangers. But by the time the retreat ended, they left as friends.
Later, they even created their own WhatsApp group to stay connected and support each other in their lives.
When I heard that, I felt deeply moved.
For me, that was the most meaningful feedback I could ever receive.
Because it showed that the retreat was not only about the few days we spent together. Something continued even after everyone returned home.
As for me, I will continue walking this path.
I will keep moving forward, with my singing bowls, creating spaces for people to pause, reconnect, and remember the kindness that already lives within them.

The Gentle Reset retreat was only the beginning.
Each retreat is a different experience, shaped by the people who gather, the space we share, and the stories that unfold along the way.
If you feel called to step away from the noise of everyday life, to rest, reconnect, and spend time with yourself in nature, you are always welcome to join us in a future retreat.
